As long as they make exhaust manifold replacement easy, it should be a hit.

And if you're wondering if it'll fit in a Mustang, Beltramo told us it's actually shorter in height and narrower than a Coyote V-8, but quite a bit longer thanks to much increased bore centers. It's possible then, but good luck doing so without having to cut into the firewall. And even if you could wedge this motor into a Mustang, it wouldn't be very good, because of its heavy cast iron block and low-revving nature. Stick with the Coyote, kids.
This 7.3-liter should be pretty durable, too, thanks to a cast-iron block, a forged steel crankshaft, and oil jets to cool the pistons.
Sounds like it just needs a cam to wake it up in a hot rod application.

Considering Ford won't have anything other than the Mustang as far as cars before too long....my guess it will be a hot rod thing for engine swaps or its going into a truck/SUV.

Doesn't sound like it's made for F-150 use.
Gotta remember the F-150 "sedans" are the family cars so they don't think soccer moms & (what I like to call) downtown cowboys need that kind of power. Wonder how that would do in a classic Lincoln land yacht...
