Frame notch for low mount AC

Anyone have pics of how and where they notched their frame for low mount ac compressor ? Think i may have asked this here before but cant find the thread.

Thanks for thinking of me, sweetheart, but I didn't notch my frame. I just repositioned the compressor a bit. AND, not an LS.... :mrgreen:
It starts on page 8 of the build thread, if ya unto take a look-see anyway.


You didn't notch the frame for something?

Must be thinking of someone else then.

I heat and beat the framerail behind the engine crossmember for exhaust manifold clearance. Another member cut a section out of his for header clearance....streetbu?

I would avoid notching the frame as you can weaken it. Better to just find another way to mount the compressor.
