I have a 83 regal with a 305 and 200,000 odd kms on it, sold the 86 with the 6 cylinder. I just had new tires /shocks installed and the front tires rub when I hit humps or bumps . The tires are BFGs 235x60x15 on the front and 255x60x15 on the back. It would appear that the front springs are tired as the car looks like its lower then it should be,sagging springs. My plans are to install a 454 and 400th trans when its removed from the donor car. So for a stock ride height what springs are suggested for the front. I am thinking someone has done what I am planning and can suggest the correct spring. I have been searching for answers on the forum but it seems that most are selecting springs for lowering. I like the look of the stock car as is when it was new and it will be mostly driven on the street. Thanks.

Buy new OE springs for a V8 G-body from any auto parts store (Autozone, Advance Auto, O'Reillys, or Rockauto.com - cheapest prices)

Got any pictures of how the car sits and what size are on the front. I didn't have any issues with the stock 195x14'' stock tires.Had a jack under the car and to make the car sit, i think, like it should for tire clearance ,it looks like i need 1 1/2' to 2'' of height. What about the diesel springs ??

Keep in mind I have 2" drop spindles with stock ball joints. I can just slide my fingers between the tire and fender. I have 235/40/18 with 4.5" backspacing. I had taller lower ball joints but it was too low and sat on the fenders.
