OK SO Im finishing up the hubs for the c5/c6 swap on the 80 malibu. the studs are too short looking into a longer ones
what studs have you guys used and has anyone done threaded front studs? ill post and example below

in the numbers part of this game the front knurl spec is .564?
the stud i pulled the knurl measured @ .548 at the largest number
trying to move up from 7/16 to 1/2 or 12mm on the front the rear is easier to match both of the newer/ bigger sizes
once i get the front fingered out ill buy rear axles and studs ..

anyone tapped the front hubs before?
should i stick with press style?
looking for 2-2.5" thread length to rid any issues with wheels and or addition of spacers/ adaptors

I recently did the blazer brake conversion and found that the wheel studs installed In the new hubs were too short for my liking also. I was looking at all the aftermarket longer wheel studs and found the only ones that weren't on backorder and available locally to be the dorman 610-323.

YEA i have that number also

And you did the blazer swap so you were already @ 12mm knurl for size.

THE 80' knurl is .564 / 14.3mm but the stud is 7/16-20 like it forgot about leg day. lol
hopped on dormanproducts site and found the 610-547 bought a few from my local parts store
they are being dropped off in a lil bit and well see ...
