I have looked and can’t find really a good place to mount a fuel cell on my 81 wagon. Or should I just use my regular fuel tank? has anyone used a fuel cell on any gbody wagon?
Yeah that my problem don’t really want to have to raise the hatch every time, what about fumes inside the car?I have a cell in my Cutlass, and would go back to a stock tank in a heartbeat! Unless using for dedicated racing, a cell gets in the way.
Unfortunately for me, my BIL cut the dang front tank straps off and I can't mount a tank without crazy fab to make it work.
No fumes. I have it vented underneath the car with a small charcoal style filter used for aquariums.Yeah that my problem don’t really want to have to raise the hatch every time, what about fumes inside the car?
If it is a street car I would either get a sumped tank or one set up for EFI, a fuel cell in a wagon or hatchback would require a firewall between you and the cell.Yeah that my problem don’t really want to have to raise the hatch every time, what about fumes inside the car?

Then by all means keep a stock tank and make it look stock. Forget a fuel cell. I went 10.70’s with a stock gas tank and Nhra stockers are going high 9’s with factory tanks.yeah it’s a street/grudge car
Appreciate the information, I’ll keep my stock tank, what size fuel line do you run on the stock tank? Then by all means keep a stock tank and make it look stock. Forget a fuel cell. I went 10.70’s with a stock gas tank and Nhra stockers are going high 9’s with factory tanks.
