REGAL Fuel issue 86 regal

My 86 regal is not getting any fuel to carb. I changed the fuel pump on the engine. Is there one in the tank to. Its the regal limited. Has sbc 305

Nope. Check the hose between the tank and the lines on the body. They rot out after time and are a high point in the system so you won't notice a leak.

Probable rusty mud in the tank and/or the tank to body line is cracked and sucking air.

If I had to chose between one or the other, I would guess both.

Might replace tank and lines.

Is there a sending unit in the tank or is that the same as a fuel pump??

The sending unit usually has a pipe that goes down near the bottom of the tank and has a strainer/filter on the end.

f you have ethanol in your gas, the filter is likely swimming in rust.

Drop your tank to check the body to tank lines. On the FI G-bodies the tank to body lines were lucky to last 10 years. Mine was spraying gas right at 10 years.
