Question: If I am going to be running two Walbro 450 e85 fuel pumps (one powered all the time, one via Hobbs switch) for my LS build, what's stopping me from just putting a bulkhead fitting in the stock carb'd fuel sender and running the wires that way?

I will need two sets of power/ground wires inside the tank; doesn't seem to make sense to buy a 1987 Buick GN fuel sender and add a second electrical connector (via bulkhead) when I could put two bulkhead fittings in the current sender.

What am I missing?
