Malibu's, They made 3 models , Base Malibu, Malibu Classic, and Malibu Landau. Base were the lightest, Classic had more options, and Landau 's were usually loaded. Mine is a base with a 4-speed and no options, the title says 2980 but I need to get it weighed.

I wish we had a decent set of scales around here.

My '87 Regal with a Buick 350 (akuninum intake, headers) and a 200-4R, t-type wheels, no a/c, aluminum radiator, and 100 pounds removed weighs about 3,300 empty. Can't find the word document. I weighed it at a small scrap yard.

you'd need to weigh them all with the same amount of gas, empty trunk, same wheels and tires and on the same scale so you'll get an accurate comparison

A gallon of gas weighs 5.92 pounds. So a full gas tank would be 18 x 5.92 = 106.56 pounds. With simple math one can factor the weight of gas out for a more accurate weight. May not get it exact but it will be close.

Mine was weighed with a nearly full tank.

I'm curious of info about this as well. We now have 2 G-bodies. The only way I know the weights is from pushing them around when they don't run lol - also referred to as the 'grunt factor'. The 80 Cutty with a 200-4R and full turbo add on's feels much heavier than the 84 MC SS. I can say that the difference in bumper weight is 100 lbs. The Monte is not fully loaded yet either, but it seems as though it has to be lighter than the 80 Cutlass Supreme.

They both will hit the scales in the Spring.

The dyno operater marked my car at 4,000 lbs and it made me irrationally angry lol. I'm betting it weighs 250lbs more than 307s. Same setup, cept I have a th350 and a trunk full of sh*t. Suitcase style socket set, two t type wheels, and jack. But empty pretty much the same. I think my manifolds weigh a little less than headers.

What did you remove?

What did you remove?
61lbs out of the inner bumpers (including harware), and when I bought a lighter weight carpet I didn't put the sound deadener back in (including behind the rear seat). S'pose I should also mention the car had glasspacks with turndowns. Not a full exhaust.
