I installed my g force crossmember and i noticed that the hole for the trans bushing is off center and the bolt went in the whole to the right and not in the center has anybody else noticed this and is it normal?

what kind trans are u running?

turbo 350 and i told them that when i ordered it I had the jegs crossmemeber in it and that bolted in the center hole

i got the one from gbodyparts. heres a pic or 2:

That is not unusual since they are universal mounts I had same issue with my 700r-4 in my 84 cutlass. I noticed it when I looked at the driveshaft in the trans tunnel. I checked and double checked to make sure everything was straight, ended up accepting the rational that if you look at the engine it is off to the passenger side as well. Was designed that way to leave room for master cylinder.

ok soo its all good then it just made me nervous bc the jegs one lined up in the middle hole and the gforce is off and was worried my transmission was cocked
