GAS TANK VENT

Well my question was can i use the small 1/4 inch line off my sending unit
for a vent for the tank. I tried this and it seems to have worked on my 82'
ElCamino. I had an issue with fuel burp even with filling with 5 gallon can.

next question i have is can anyone recommend a good set of shorty headers
for my 82' with a 350 in it. please and thank you.

I don't see why not,it's a small line coming out of that sender anyways so there's nothing to lose by a hose of the same size.
