I understand that there are car and truck engine side clam shell brackets. I dont know which I have. Part number on one is 140378 then a larger 78. Other only has a 34 stamped on it. I have no idea what they are out of just kept them for years. Have searched google cant find anything. I dont want to lower the engine to find it's wrong. Can some one positively identify them. I have enough in this build would like to use them if possible.

As Turna said👆,use the original mounts that came wth your car if it is a SBC car. P/n 334970/stamped 334971.

I dont have any mounts with the car. Bought as a roller. Appears the mounts I do have are from a truck they dont look as short as the ones marked sbc. I know they came off a small block but are bigger I think than the ones in the pic. Sucks as I have these already. I don't want solid mounts I'm pretty sure or I'd buy the moroso brand.

Short ones came in alot of cars and 4wd trucks , 2wd 73-87 had those tall mounts they don't work in our cars or anything else but 2wd 73-87 Chevy trucks and vans same year range + ,if your close to Pittsburgh I'd be more then willing to go you a set or two

I have an extra pair of new SBC factory style mounts with the rubber inserts. I went with the steel mounts instead. PM me if you are interested.

Maybe I should go solid but I worry about shaking the car apart. It's a street strip deal but dont want to destroy the car driving it
