Gbody bulkhead years?

I was wanting to know if anyone knows if the bulkhead head from the engine harness from a 83 305 monte carlo different from a 87 305?

That's what I thought, but the a guy i was going to buy it from said it was not the same.

I thought 78-83 was one set and 84-88 was another set.

I know my 81 cutlass was the same as my 80 century.

They did change them but for the life of me I can't remember whether change occurred in 83 or 84.

Now I'm second guessing myself.

They changed the orientation of the pins/spades. The older ones were vertical, the newer ones went horizontal. And the outer shape was slightly different as a result

So you need the engine side connector(bottom pic in post 8)? Plug only?.....or do you need the complete harness?
