GBotM VOTING - Nov '17 - WIDE TIRES

OK, so if you all remember the criteria I posted, not everyone who entered is actually eligible. Some had no rear quarter shots, some were 'only' 9" and unfortunately (and I don't know if I've ever actually said this) moderators probably shouldn't be eligible (sorry!)

Here we are: And ONLY THE FIRST SEVEN THAT QUALIFED. I know there were wider meats shown or other possible entries but I gotta stick to what I said. I think this thing is starting to blow up a bit and I gotta come up with some way to keep it sane. Open to suggestions (not in this thread though) I'd love to once again just list *everyone* but like I said.

what can i say this months subject for G body of the month is STUPID looks like there getting hard up to fine things, to fine good g bodys, next month it will be who has the thinest dipstick or prettest lug nuts but you can only have 5, im sure i catch crap for this but im just speaking whats on my mine, ive only been a member for 5 years but this is by far the sillyest reason to have your car on the front page for a month,
lets get idea from everyone next time be for theres a nother one like this month

I dunno u pick next month then. We had a member who was basically in charge of it and ran it with machine like efficiency. He’s since moved on (literally to China if I recall) so it fell back to me. And I’m pretty sloppy with it.

I try to give the winner the opportunity to pick the next months theme. That’s what you see here. I could override it, and I have before, but I try to make it happen.

Last month we had like 25 entries, which made voting a cluster. (And the previous winner picked that theme as well). The only other time we’ve had that many I broke it up over three months and wasn’t happy with that solution.

So, either I just open it up to everyone every month, and we have to have runoff voting because 50 cars have 2 votes each, or we find a way to limit entries each month.

If there’s a better way, I’m all ears. Seriously. I never thought people would be getting wound up about it.

I’d someone wants to make GBotM their mission and do it regularly and reliably please lmk.

I say let the previous winner choose the new GBOM. Contests don't always have to be about the 'Prettiest' the 'Fastest' etc. Lets keep it light, lets keep it fun and entertaining. .

As previously stated, I reserved my vote for liquidh8's kick#ss wagon. But unfortunately, I'm the only vote and it's 11 votes behind.
Therefore!: I'm changing my vote to CWPottenger in hopes of seeing that kick#ss independent rear suspension every time I stop by the site. Regards to Rktpwrd's sidepipes.
