Went to pick n pull looking for some spare relays for my fans and fuel pump. I found two different PNs. I can't find the specification on the web on them. Been searching for several hours. I got two of each and they didn't charge me!

Differences..... current handling capacity depending on the circuit, we all know they are 12v, so you possibly get 10a, 20a, 30a, 40a, 50a, etc.

Yeh.... but how do you tell the difference? Unless the lid has the amp rating by location, I didn't think about looking there.

Under the fuse/relay block lid as you've mentioned, or if you find the owners manual still in the glove box.... perhaps the rating of each relay is stated?

Or.... trace the fuse in the circuit that leads to the relay to give an idea of what its current rating may be.

After "closely" comparing the spades there is a difference in size. My relays are the smaller spade one. I guess maybe the bigger spades means higher amp rating?

Be careful just plugging one in. many relays have a clamping diode and some don't. You could inadvertently fry something.
