GN diff and transmission into 81 Olds

I think what it boils down to is that there is no 200-4r that doesn't bolt up to a SBC. The confusion may be from the fact that they are in BOP cars, like my GN and everyone just assumes they are BOP only. May be just a case of the Mandela Effect.

Well it certainly would seem more cost effective for GM to make only one trans case that carries bolt patterns for all the engines that they would be used behind
