So I am having issues getting my one piece front spoiler to line up with the bumper holes on my 86' Regal and it appears that my bumper is too far forward or possibly my bumper shocks are too long
I am getting about 6-1/4" from the frame to the backside of the bumper and am curious what the correct measurement should be.
I believe 81'-87' Regal/GN will all be the same.

So can anyone verify that 6.25" is the correct length for the bumper shocks?

Thanks, I would like to see a picture with a measurement for verification if possible, GbodyParts told me their aluminum front is 6.25" so I still would like to see others also.

So can anyone else verify this measurement since I have two conflicting numbers?

Finally got it measured.
Here's the driver's side from bumper core to frame. Spacer included. 6 & 7/16"
Passenger side. This side has two spacers. Also from the overspray it seems this one has extended on me at some point. 6 & 3/8"
The spacers seem to be about an eighth inch each.
