After destroying my first '87 cutlass (my first car), I found this bone stock '87 Texas car at school and managed to talk the owner into selling for 2k. Like I said all stock 90,000 miles, 307 V8, th200 trans, 2.14 gears, column shift, sweep speedometer, wire hubcaps, true mediocrity.

First things first get rid of stock exhaust:

All custom bent single 2.5" to Flowmaster 80 series in stock location to dual 2.5" magnaflow tips. Also threw on the factory Oldsmobile mudflaps from the first 87:

Then the tunes needed upgraded:

Pioneer head unit, replaced all speaker wires, bass blockers wired into front 3" RF speakers. Pioneer 4X10s in the rear.

Then the Grant GT wheel:

The Sun tachometer:

Put the aluminum wheels from my first cutlass on with some cheap 205/60R14 white letters:

5% window tint all around:

That was great and all for a while but I wanted more. This mess frustrated me and that 307 was a little tired:

Pulling the 307:

307 Gone:

Enter 400 Pontiac.

Please ignore the hastily sprayed paint job. Out of a '75 Bonneville, stock right down to the 2-barrel carb. Disassembled the bottom end to find cylinder walls in excellent shape, bearings good, someone took care of this motor. I'm in the process of acquiring bits and pieces to complete the swap.

Thanks for looking. I only drive the car in nice weather anymore. The windows are usually down. I've had a few tickets back when it was my daily driver but that's the price you pay to play. Sure makes a difference on sunny days.
