Well, i got the converter in and the shift kit in. Got impatient and wanted to drive so i bolted the unfinished hood on and went for a 2 hour drive. I will finish the hood another day. I am sure there are others out there like me......

Lookin' good...not to worry, if you're like most of us it'll never be completely done.
Your summer is only, like, 2.5 days long. That's not impatient, that's just being efficient.
I will spend some more time sanding the hood then re-spray it flat black and call it done for now. Still need to try and find a good paint match for touch ups, had a chunk on the drivers door that needs a touch up but cant find anything remotely close to the dark blue metallic. The factory pearl apparently makes it a nightmare to mix touch up. Also need to find a good gear guy in the area to do my gear swap. Its the only thing that dont feel like doing myself. Have the 342's sitting on my bench.
