Anyone have a source or suggestions for replacement GP center console carpet? The stuff that goes up the side?

I need something in the light grey color. My old stuff on my 2+2 was rotten and smelt like rotting mouse crap when I got the car and stripped all of it off.

The material seems similar to what the door panels are carpeted in but I measured and the raw material you can get as replacement is too short to cover the entire side of the console.

I was thinking just trying a carpet store but its a short strand, not really dense, soft carpet. I think anything at a carpet store is going to be too harsh (indoor/outdoor or basement style) or too long of strand and not tuck under the side vents and look like someone went wild with the shag carpet on a 70's street machine.

I thought about using molded carpet since its the right pile feel and length, but again, the rubber mat it's molded in is too thick and its not going to contour well to the console.

Thoughts?

If you do a search for automotive carpet roll you might find what you are looking for.

I looked on Amazon real quick there were a couple of different options

There is this stuff but I am cautious its not going to match the door carpet or floor carpet at all it's going to bug me.

I want a source for lower door or rear shelf carpet that matches the GM stuff.

Jake,
I've dealt with these people. I bought my carpet kit from them, plus some added yardage for the cargo area. https://www.stockinteriors.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0-u6yemQ6QIViIbACh2W6wFOEAAYASAAEgKNY_D_BwE

That's what I ended up doing too. Bought extra yardage when I bought my carpet. It was a pain to get exactly right.
I thought someone did have it precut but must be thinking of the lower door panels (Dixierestoration) which they didn't offer when I restored my 79 GA

Besides doing the cargo area, I had enough to do the lower door panels. Of course, everything matched.

I think that's my option! Thanks! They have "plush cut pile" (I think thats the right pattern judging by the doors) by the yard in what looks like the right color.

Its $67 shipped for 6ft x 3ft so that's more than enough to do what I need. I'll probably do the area under the rear glass while I'm there and do something GM never did with the excess.
