Does any company make new printed circuit boards for the back of the gauges with a tach?

That is good cause there is no aftermarket boards. It'd be great if you could post a picture or two and explain what was wrong and how you fixed it so it may help the next member who has an issue with a board.

Yes, please tell us what you had done to repair it and what source did you use? I'm sure the information would benefit our membership.

Unfortunately, no one reproduces the printed circuits. I suppose if one is pretty savvy with electrics he could do the necessary repairs himself. Kinda like doing a bypass operation.

I had a local shop fix it. 2 of the tabs going into the main plug were broke off. The shop cut the plastic back a little bit and solder some wire on to the copper and then they put silicone over the top to avoid it from contacting any thing else.

That is great that a shop fixed it. I would have never thought of a shop that would fix that, what kind of a shop was it?

Just a regular repair shop, the guy that fixed it was changing a t-stat when I got there and had to change a timing belt afterwards. I was going to do it myself but my hands aren't steady enough to solder anymore.

It's located in Goldsboro NC, it's called gold city auto. I thought about going to a computer repair shop?
