I bought this trunk lock cover for my 82 Grand Prix. The part# is 3072500. Can anyone help with the proper size rivets I need to buy or the right part#. Hopefully someone has done this to their Grand Prix and can help out.

Check out a GM # 21127002. Also look into the Auveco # 22089, might be the one.

Catalog part number for that cover is 20225600, just as an FYI.

I don't know anything about Pontiacs really. I do know the rivets for these sort of things are specialized beveled "blind" rivets that don't leave anything behind to fall into the trunklid crevice inside. USUALLY, but not always, the covers come with the rivet package. Unfortunately I don't know of the exact size you'll need or the GM part number.

$9.60 for a set of 6 of these. In case you were wondering. Ask them if it will actually work. I have no idea of the size.

Grainger sells them too, but what size do you need? I don't know.
