Hey guys I was having issues with trying to engage my left turn signal. I would have to constantly hold down the lever to keep it on. Ok simple fix just replace the turn signal switch. Did that and noticed it would now lock in place but you really had to push the lever all the way down practically through the housing. I took the housing apart and found this pretty good dent in the aluminum casting. I haven’t been able to find a replacement anywhere but was thinking about just using some epoxy to level it out and sand it smooth. Any thoughts on a better repair or where I can find one? 6FFDC8DC-4055-4664-833B-C5A93FBBFB60.jpeg

I am going to give the JB weld a shot and reshape it with a dremel. I figure that should hold for a few more decades before I bite the bullet on a custom steering column

Let us know how it comes out if you will. Need both hands to signal a left turn on mine too.

What makes mine the worst is the plastic part of the lever snapped off years ago so its a little stubby lever. My left pinky is incredibly strong now!

So happy to report the jb weld did the job just fine. You can see now when i click it into the left turn signal it still has tons of room. You can see the dents in the plastic from having to force it down. We will see how long it holds up. And i tell you what this thing flicks the switch like a brand new car
