i have decided it will be best to replace the full quarter panel on my 86 442. the wheel well has rust 3/4 of the way around it and its more cutting and welding than i fell comfortable doing myself. i found goodmark half quarters from summit for 90 a piece plus around 100 in shipping, i did not see any gm panels for sale which are likely more than i want to pay anyways. does anyone have experiance with the goodmark panels? any idea on the cost for the install? i have a couple of possible people that may do it on the side for me for reasonble money i think.

I have had good luck with goodmark panels, in the past. But recently have heard they were using the same imported metal as other companies are. Just heresay I suppose. It comes down to how bad you rot is, and what you can get your hands on. If you have some guys that have the experience to make it work, then it would be best to ask them how much they would pay. I don't do that stuff for anyone but me and my family. Too time consuming and too many variables involved once I cut the panel off.

So, in short, I have heard good things about them, and ask he people you think would do it for you for pricing.
