Ok, I have searched and searched but cannot find any help with my certain issue. I will make it simple. A few days ago the lights to my gauges went out. Turned out to be a bad fuse so I replaced it. Now my gas gauge does not work, my oil/choke and battery idiot lights stay on. The headlight/dimmer switch was bad so I put in a new one. Even more nerve racking is the headlight chime will stay on unless the knob is turned all the way down. I pull the knob to turn the lights on and turn it to the left and the chime kicks in. Whether I'm driving or not. Any ideas? Just did an oil change, battery is good and installed a new alternator and changed all the belts as I am restoring it. Its an '85 Monte Carlo LS with A/C with the 305. The speedo and clock work but thats it. About to toss a grenade at this b**ch!!!!
