I took the sagging headliner out of my 83 Grand Prix, while I got it out I kind of want to put some “sound deadner” on the ceiling or maybe some of that thermal stuff they put down on roofs? What’s y’all’s opinion
Awesome, that’s what I’m leaning toward using too. Specifically for that heat/cooling help that it addsreally good 3m adhesive ( dont cheap out 77 or 90 ) and 2 layers of the bubble \ foil stuff from Home Derpo here. The stuff they use for wrapping hot water tanks. Its light and works well. Because it's light the 3m holds it to the roof NP. Made a huge difference in both the Monte and the work truck for both sound deadening and AC

I used a product called FatMat RattleTrap. Had great results with sound and temperature, granted my car has a t-roof so the area is small that was actually covered. I do believe that every little bit counts. Not too heavy and was self-adhesive so easy to install.Awesome, that’s what I’m leaning toward using too. Might want to look at this as well. I used it for my roof, doors and floor, when I re-did my interior. Poor mans DynaMat, worked well.I used a product called FatMat RattleTrap. Good luck.

I don’t really mind the added weight but I’ll go ahead and ask anyways. What do you think it added up to?Might want to look at this as well. I used it for my roof, doors and floor, when I re-did my interior. Poor mans DynaMat, worked well.

Not sure but very minimal, the stuff isn't that heavy. I think I used 3-4 rolls total, whole interior, I would guess 10-15lbs? (have T-tops as well so roof is small.)I don’t really mind the added weight but I’ll go ahead and ask anyways. What do you think it added up to?
Very nice! Im not sure if I want to do the whole car. I just though I’d ask about the roof/ceiling since the headliner is out right nowNot sure but very minimal, the stuff isn't that heavy.
