Never fail and need a new one every time you have to remove a hose.


They used to be very popular in the truck world until cooling modules had to be removed annually for engine, cylinder head, cam replacement or overhauls.

yes,they have to be cut off.gates makes a tool for cutting them off without cutting the hose.

That tool looks more expensive than my removal tool...

...and it doesn't cut the hose either.


J/K. I think it's a great way to seal your hose while keeping things looking neat. And no catching your arm on a bolt head or tang sticking out and slicing you up worse than an emo kid cutting himself.

Use them in work, but as stated, need to be replaced every time (common sense). So if your junk breaks all the time, use a regular clamp, lol
