Heater never shuts off ... Help

Marty unfortunately I can't find it but here is what it is & does.

Yea so far I'm only finding one way to fix it that's by bypassing the hoses on heater core ill look into the pics and literature you have posted . Thanks
 
That is definitely one way to do it and it will work but this is the proper way to fix it. I think the water valve II bought (first pics) was under $20 & I haven't had any issues since. No matter which way you choose to go good luck.
