Hello - I just bought back my 1983 Malibu wagon that I sold in 1997, some 23 years ago. It has been sitting for a long time and needs a lot of work, so it’s a future project. Looking forward to fixing it up, “again”. Here are a couple pics. The first is when I had it in the mid 90’s and the other is how it looked the other day when I went to pick it up. Thanks for having me....Curt

Welcome aboard!
Looked like a nice Malibu wagon in it's heyday. Time can be cruel on a vehicle, especially one that's been sitting dormant for many years.
Good luck with it. I'm sure you'll bring it back to it;s former glory. Let us know how you're succeeding.
I'm sure after a good wash, it'll give you soon insight and perspective....and remind you of how cool it was when you originally owned it.

welcome to the site Curt.
. Thank you guys, I appreciate it. It does look better since I gave it a bath, (see attached). The interior is still amazingly nice. I put .05 window tint on the windows back in the day that kept the sun out, and the guy that I sold it to put a sunshade in the windshield that saved the dash. Jambs still look good, so it won’t be a huge deal to paint it again. Really looking forward to getting it going one day. Just about finished with my Nova project, then I’m helping a buddy finish his Chevelle. After that it’s the BuWagon’s turn.

Wow!! It still looks pretty nice after a good bath. Great looking car. Yeah, I'm a firm believer of using sunshades. They've saved many a dash over time.
Keep us updated on your progress once you're back to work on it.

Welcome, "skinitbacjac" Curt, from Seattle, Wa.
I agree, she's still a looker. Judging from the pics, I am excited to see the Nova as well. As you explore the GBF site, you may notice a thread titled "what did you do to your non-gbody project today". That would be a great way to keep us up to date on the Nova.

Thank you all for the comments. The old wagon looks better in the pictures than in person. Just glad that it’s still as good as it is, no rust and good interior. I’ll keep y’all posted when I start working on it. It was packed full of junk when I went to pick it up. After cleaning it out, I was amazed at the interior. It was pretty moldy, but it cleaned up pretty good.
