HELP - putting a supercharger on a chevy 350

Has anyone tried to put a Vortech supercharger (V3-Si-trim) on a chevy 350? I called vortech and they said that they did not have a model that would fit a 78 Monte Carlo. They said that Summit has sold a few, but the people installing them said that they could not get the pulleys to line up. Has anyone tried to do this?? I guess I am not sure why it fits other carburated 350s, but not on the Monte. I would be removing the air conditioning and placing it where that was. Anyone try it and have it work?? If not, what were the issues and could it be modified????

You could try using a 3 row bottom pulley. Then you might be able to space the wc out enough to make it work.
