If the Olds you're picking up has a V8 the fuel lines should be on the correct (passenger) side - I believe only the V6s had the line on the driver's. The Olds V8s have the fuel pump on the right-side of the engine, just like the Chevys. There's my good deed for the year, giving info to a guy convert an Olds over to Chevy (can't beleive I did that :shock: ). Kidding.
In terms of the computer if you do keep it you may get a check-engine light all the time due to having something / sensor(s) unplugged. There is a small "chip" for lack of a better word that needs to be removed. Also, if you are running a 200-4R trans you may need to keep it because the lock-up is controlled by the computer (grounds to it). There are aftermarket kits available to control lockup if tossing the computer.
