Hello G-Bodies. I’m fresh to the forum. I need help with an issue I’m having with my blinkers. The blinkers work perfectly when the headlights are off but as soon as I turn on the headlights, the passenger side blinkers do not function correctly. They turn on and stay on but they do not “blink”. Just on the passenger side. I have gone through all the earths and replaced the tired headlight bulbs but cannot find a reason for the passenger blinker to not function when the headlights are on. The driver side works flawlessly too.

It's probably your parking being on are causing the issue, not the headlights. I would try a new bulb and check the socket to make sure it's clean and a good contact

Agree with the above ^. I am just amazed that Steve didn't suggest changing the blinker fluid. OP: The blinkers work on a total system load. Whatever the amount of load all the bulbs in that side circuit add up to, it causes the blinker element to heat up and break the circuit. When it cools it re-establishes the circuit. The blinker is rated for that load on that car. Something is keeping the blinker from getting hot enough to blink, usually a burnt or missing bulb. Since you checked all the grounds, check that every single bulb is intact and clean. You may be overlooking a side marker or something. The headlights are separate from the directionals but not the parking lights, which do work with the directionals. I would concentrate on those, especially the grounds. Also check the ground at the headlight switch. It may also be the wrong blinker element. If all else fails a truck blinker will work. It does not care about the load- it just blinks.
