Help with radio hook up

Hey fellas, trying to save a few bucks and hook up my own stereo. Help of any kind, will be greatly appreciated. Help with, what wire goes where, the proper gauge size wires, amps and eq's. Diagram would be nice.

there isnt much to it, just color to color and either butt connectors or wire crimps. any loose wires you tape up.

I suggest to pickup the harness adapter so you don't have to cut up your stock harness. much cleaner and easier to reverse in the future if you decide. most auto parts stores carry them for ~$10

I just got done installing mine and I found a diagram on classicoldspower the wires did not just match color to color on the harness that came with my new stereo but they listed the colors use in the book so I just matched them by that. Some one had installed one before so I had to cut that off back to the orginal wiring. Goodluck

I always try and buy he adapter first. If I cant get one spend some time researching for your car and you can find the colors. But that doesnt mean its the right wires. Good luck.
