Did you get it figured out? Just a supply to gear and a return. If running a cooler then return goes to that in/out and back to reservoir.
I have it like this. But haven’t made any cuts yet. Bottom pulley pretty close to the box.

The clearance problem of the Holley Mid mount and power steering box.

I'm between cutting that return nipple off and relocating to a to the front of the reservoir. Concerns of omitting the factory one since it's baffled. Not sure if my idea will introduce air bubbles.

Or grinding that boss off the steering box. Do you know if there is anything like an oil passage under there? I wish I had an extra box to grind and see.

The picture is deceiving. The pump is not fully bolted to the engine and hanging down a bit in the photo. There IS a bit of clearance. Probably just like yours but I'm looking to not have the hose rubbing on the box.

Solid engine mounts may keep all this stuff from moving but with poly clamshells, I expect there will be some movement. Looking for clearance as opposed to the hose against the box.

Maybe our steering boxes are different? But now I'm going to have to check mine next time I start it up and rev it a little to check movement and clearance

What about a remote reservoir setup?

From the picture. Yours is close too.

Rev it up in neutral will not load the engine mount.

Support the hood open, block the wheels and do it in gear.
