I'm just curious have anyone did anything different with the GP hoods besides the normal raised cowl hoods..nothing against them. Just wondering have anyone done anything different

I considered an aftermarket hood for my Regal but decided on just a bolt on fiberglass scoop that will give me the added clearance needed.
Still haven't installed it so it is just resting on the hood in the picture.

That's a pretty nice scoop definitely fits the style of the hood

I bought mine from Lauren Engineering they have a few different styles. http://laureneng.com/1465048.html
I decided against the complete hood since I would have to have it shipped to my work and the clowns there would probably sign for a damaged hood and then I would be stuck with it.

Lol good idea.. sorta looks like the hood on the GN. I may get The same one, it's hard to get a good look especially with the grill of the GP.

I think this hood would look sick on a GP if they made one for it...also a bolt on version! I like how it slopes back! View attachment 69110
Man that's nice..if you could find just the scoop..it would be possible..i do composites and sheet metal in the military..so anything is possible lol

Would DIY hood vents count? :)

For the record, I am planning to install a scoop so I run a taller air cleaner. My idea is to get a Mopar Six Pack style scoop and mount it backwards (ie, with the opening facing backwards). Some day.
