Hood won’t stay close

Anybody have this problem ?

My original did that, had to use a screw driver to assist it open as I pulled where the cable catch was.

looks like you may have bent it from the looks of that rod in the hood.

Clean it up, then lube it with something like super lube

The latch looks really chewed up and worn away, either from misalignment or something is bent or broke.

I have a few good hood latches. Just pay shipping and one is yours.
