Hoods interchangeable?

Hey everyone, I know the whereabouts of an 82 Monte Carlo cowl hood for cheap. I was wondering if it would fit on my 81 Regal? I tried searching but couldn't find anything hood related. I looked at pictures to compare and they look close but I don't want to buy it if it won't fit. Thanks.

It might "fit" but the body lines are definitely not the same. The lines on the monte carlo angle out as you move up the hood and the regal ones are fairly straight.

Ask for the measurements if your in contact with him and then go out and check it with yours.
