Hot cold dampener cable

Does anyone have a pic at what this should look like? The clip broke. When I place the eye hole of the cable on the plastic stud, the throw is not correct. It's right behind the glovebox. Thanks!!!

Looks like your cable is sliding out of the plastic retainer clip. you picture shoes two lines with divots on the cable, I think those should be hidden under the plastic retainer.Can you push the cable back through and maybe use a zip tie on either end of the clip to keep the cable from walking?
