Hot Rod Power Tour 2017

Is anybody here thinking of joining the Power Tour this year? It has kind of been a bucket list item for me, and I am probably going to be going this year as it ends relatively close to home.

I probably won't be able to drive on the tour but since it ends in Bowling Green I would love to go check out the cars.

im in for k.c, iowa and possibly champaign and indy. bowling green is too far for me. and I'm only interested in indy so i can spend some with an old friend. i just don't know which car i want to drive. I'm trying to get my 66 wagon going and that would be an excellent shakedown test.

Don't feel too bad, my car got painted inside a harbor freight tent on a day that was only over freezing for about 5 hours. Needless to say, it does not look show quality (think sand blasted cast aluminum). But at least it is not rusty anymore...

I was all ready to do the last 4 stops this year but my job scheduled emission test for that so week so my vacation is canceled this year.....I will use this year to rework my Regal to efi and go for a more street look......was planning to drive my 87 Squarebody GMC this year......

I did the East Coast Power Tour back in 98 it was alot of fun!!!

After talking with the GF, we will probably be going from KC to Champaign before we break off for home. I would love to make the whole trip but neither of us can get away from work for that long.

Having had done Power Tour in 2012, and Drag Week in 2016 - Drag Week is the only way to go.
