They make 4 x 10 to 6 x 9 adapters but I like to cut a notch for each 6 x 9 speaker under the top of the rear deck behind the rear upper seat and mount it directly to the deck and then I open up the hole closer to the size of the 6 x 9.
For 6.5" speakers in the door if you have power windows you can mount them where the window switch is and move the switch down to the lower door panel, I did this with both my Monte and Regal.

In the past i have mounted 6x9s in the rear armrest area in the back seat. I took the lower plastic panel out cut out a hole in the card board rear door panel that fits the 6x9. I then reinstalled the plastic panel and cardboard door panel. Mark the hole you cut in the panel onto the metal in the car. Remove panels again and use a skill saw to cut the hole in the car. The hole you cut then holds the 6x9 and that cavity feeds back to your trunk space. So it still uses the trunk as the speaker box so to speak.
They make these things to mount speakers in the area i am talking about without cutting the metal in your car. But it is not for a 6x9.
