Wondering how much my el Camino is worth. Clean black painted about 5 years ago no rust. 4.3l v6 130k runs strong. Straight as a arrow. New carpet, new bench seat, interior spotless. All break stuf replaced last week. Brand new tires. Cowl induction hood. Fiberglass tanoe cover. 14" slotter rims. Flow master exhaust.

Depends on the location. It's not a Malibu front clip (a bit more popular) V6 is OK nothing wrong with that but you know everyone looks for the 8's. I'm just going off by what you described the car and pics. Not saying you'll get it but just my guess.

$6,000-$8,500

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Gbodys in good condition sell for easily up to 10 grand depending on the make, model, and options of course. Yours is very clean, nice paint, wheels, etc. I imagine if someone bought it they'd take the 4.3 and chuck it and put in a 305 or 350 because it's a direct swap so they will be buying it for the body. I'm a bit less optimistic than theoldsone here, so I'd say 3-4 grand is a good asking price. Maybe 5 on a good day if you really shined her up and had had pics of the interior and clean up and paint the engine compartment if it needs it. You can have two identical things for sale and people will ALWAYS flock to and in most cases buy the cleaner shinier one.

Have you got it appraised? Even if you don't sell it the appraisal will help if the car gets damaged or stolen.

It's worth what ever you can get for it. I haven't had any luck pulling good money for some extremely nice to mint G bodies that I have sold. I believe a good number is $3000.00 - if your looking for an insurance number $4000.00 to $5000.00

That's interesting a lot of you guys are lower compared to what I said. I see many el Caminos sell for 5k+ around my area. Not that anyone is wrong I'm just saying area really counts.

Not sure where you are located, as you can see I'm from the Detroit area. I got $3400.00 for an original 22000 mi 81 Regal - none better. and $3250.00 for an 81 GP LJ w/ almost everything under the hood new.

I wish I had bought either one of those cars. Both were steals at that price as far as I'm concerned. I just wasn't on the forum when I bought my car.
