any advice on replacing the Oldsmobile emblem on a 87 cutlass tail light. the red Olds emblem is missing. i would like to replace the emblem but cant remove the old chrome mount from the lens.

Never had any luck doing that myself. The old plastic tends to crack/break putting too much pressure on it. There may have been a small number that's had success, but they're likely far and few between. Unless someone who knows the tricks and tips to doing it without mucking up the lens can chime in.
