Got a really cheap deal on a Hummer H3.

The mileage isn't bad, a 170 000 km. The 3.5l got a new head at 120 000 km as a recall.
Honestly, they are a bit overrated and for the size, the driver is too small for a 6 foot tall.

Besides that, it's a decent 4x4. The market around here is overpriced for Jeeps so why not get something pretty close to it for a lower price.

The bad: Rocker panel gets completely overwhelmed by rust because of the bad design of the plastic cover. They just can't breathe at all.
The front end is getting to much weight from the front suspension drop. The upper control arms and the bearings are taking it all.
The offset wheels are basically sandblasting the door handles on both sides.

I'll just redo the rocker panel, install mudflaps and repaint the whole thing.

Are you talking about the H2 shifter, the reverses L-shaped one?
Or the fat H3 shifter.

The H2 looks pretty neat.
