Hypertech Thermomaster Power chip do they work??

i was wondering if any of you guys have used any of those hypertech chips. did you notice any real performance gains using it?. my boy came up on a Hypertech Thermomaster Power chip that he's selling for $50 so i want to ask you guys is it even worth buying.

Every one I've talked to says they are a noticible improvement over stock. On the Thermomaster, you need to run a 180 degree thermostat and at least 92 octane to get the correct results.
