Hello

I have an 81 El Camino that I bought as a roller back in 2016 and have since put in a 355 and a 200-4R. The car is tagged and road-worthy, but just as with any old vehicle, I'm now in the process of chasing little issues here and there. The most recent issue is the wiper switch has decided to stop working, so I'm on the hunt for a replacement since reproduction units don't seem to exist.

Welcome aboard ! I also have a 1981 El Camino .Its a loaded SS model. With a 290 HP 350 /Turbo 350 .headers and true dual exhaust. and other upgrades, On the wiper switch have you checked such parts stores as O`Reileys for it.I have had luck with them on certain parts for mine.

Not sure on the ELCO f it's the same, but Rockauto had a delay wiper switch for my 80 K10, maybe the pic might tell you if it's the same?

I checked the stores and they don't seem to carry this particular switch. It is really odd that this switch is so hard to find.

Unfortunately, it isn't the same switch. I'm sure I could make it work, but I'm not there quite yet.
