I recently removed my ignition switch lower down on the steering column of my 81 Elky. However I suspect the steering column is from a different vehicle. Is there any way to use the part number - D305GM/A1 - to back track the part to the original vehicle? I have tried doing an internet search on that number but have come up with nothing. Any assistance is appreciated.
