So back in 2001, I'd purchased an 82 roller Buick Regal. It had a turbo hood, console, buckets, astro roof, and sport steering wheel (horn button missing). Someone had painted it red. Even the door, hood, and trunk areas were painted red. I remember the dash cluster lens' were very foggy and remember you could barely make out a power 6 logo where the clock would normally be. I sold it to my friend who small blocked it and raced it. I ended up with it back when he got a Malibu. He kept his engine to put in the Malibu. I ended up craigslisting it and it sold. I just watched a video on youtube and it showed the power 6 logo in the cluster. I'm 99% sure that car was a 1982 Grand National. We both assumed it was a T Type. Makes me sick that I had a rare car. Look on the bright side, they are ugly, slow, and still not worth much.

Yep, just like the aero Salons and Centurys. But I still like them. I'm a classic car enthusiast that appreciates anything old. Don't care how much they're worth or how fast

I’m rebuilding this 82 and most people I’m sure would have ran away from it due to the rust but between reproduction metal and a donor car for the firewall i can rebuild it. While most people talk about values and all that it’s still a rare car worth restoring. While not praised like a 86-87 GN it’s what helped start the legacy.

Are you sure it didn't have a T Top roof? There were no 82 GN's with astro roofs, only T Top

It was astro roof for sure
I've learned never to say never lol, BUT, perhaps you had a sport coupe and someone installed the dash plate. Do you remember what the seats looked like?

Thats not sickening ,this is sickening - watching my weird neighbor destroy multiple cars. Took a t type that was really nice and sponge painted it. He then glued pennies over every square inch of the dash. Bolted a towel rack to the deck lid and flanged chrome plumbine pipe behind each wheel like some type of exhaust curb feeler lookalike and he was proud of that monstrosity and that was only one of his creations.

But i feel bad for you and can share in the feeling for sure
