Took a little drive around my hood this morning and snapped some pics of all the stuff rotting away in fields and driveways. All within 5 miles of my house. With very few exceptions, none have moved in the last 5 years. Sorry in advance for photo quality. All were taken from the comfort of my driver's seat.

Early Blazer. Looked complete.

50s vintage canned ham that looked remarkably straight.

This house probably had 100 cars, pickups, RVs, boats, and trailers stacked around it. Looked like about a dozen 40s cars in one corner.

Datsun 510 wagon and Jeep Commando. There used to be a 510 2dr there about 4 years ago.

A couple Chevy 4x4s and an old trailer (tons of old trailers like that around here).

Honorable mention for this empty parking spot. There is occasionally a '65ish Corvette parked there. The guy daily drives it. Same guy that owns the 4x4s above. Also has a camo Humvee.

'56(?) Caddy and mid-'70s Ford 4x4.

Power Wagon and '54 Chevy triplets. There was a SWB squarebody 4x4 just out of frame to the right.

Shoebox and mid-'60s Ford pickup.

Same lot had the Jubilee tractor, old Ford cab, and Lemans. There's also a '58ish Ford pickup behind them.

'59 El Camino, 5 window Chevy, 3rd gen, '64-66 Chevy pickup.

Same house has this disco Vette and early '60s Caddy.

'66(?) GTO

'64 GTO. This is actually in a different spot from a few months ago. I'm guessing it got dragged back a few feet to do field work.

El Camino, Galaxie, '62 Chevy pickup. There was an '68-72 El Camino shell and '70ish Chevy 4x4 to the right but I guess I didn't snap a photo.

Double fail for wasting a 6BT along with a SWB.

Bullet 'Bird

Looks like this '66 might get used for dump runs.

'68 LTD convertible? with heavy metalflake. Never seen it move. There is a '60s Ford unibody pickup in the garage that comes out on sunny days.

Early Corvair.

These belong to the guy that painted my dad's '36 pickup a couple years ago. Supposedly drivers but I've never seen either move.

This old guy had 2 of these. The gray one disappeared a few weeks ago. I saw him driving this one summer before last -- sounded horrible, like it was missing at least 2 cylinders and had a massive exhaust leak. For sale sign in the window said $8k. GLWS.

'53-55 Ford with some kustom touches. He has another old pickup in the garage.

Mid-'60s GMC on the right. Another canned ham on the left with optional wood stove chimney.

This Dodge guy lives 2 doors down from me. A couple old pickups in the deep weeds and a Dart and Duster up front.

One last R.I.P. honorable mention. I posted a photo of this little house in town built around an old travel trailer. Well, they finally separated them and hauled the trailer out last week. The trailer looked to be in extremely good shape and they were using a frontend loader to drag it onto a flatbed trailer. The house is all framed in and sided as of today.

There was a lot out there I didn't even bother to get photos of (more '60 Chevy and Ford trucks than I can count) and quite a few that I remembered that I missed once I got home. Of course none of it is for sale because, 'Ima reeestore that sumday'.
