Here's an issue that should be something that might to add to questionibf the rush for electric only transportation. Especially near lots of salt water.

So yeah, been seeing that in the news here, only Teslas mentioned but you know there will be other manufacturers with the issue.

I wonder what could happen where roads get salted in winter ....

This has to have them scrambling to come up with a plan. Mother Nature keeps all them engineers guessing where they went wrong!

This also leaves a good question. Can the AV trucks go splashing on the beaches like the “gas guzzlers” do? And what about deep puddles and brooks in flood zones? Hmmm. Yup, those engineers better get on the design computers.

I think the salt water is a big factor here, tends to conduct more.

Haven't seen a whole lot of fires out of the ICE vehicles...

Well I was thinking we get a trailer, put it behind the EV, load some with coal, hire someone with a shovel, call him an "Engineer" and he can shovel the coal into a boiler. The boiler will make steam and... Oh wait... Ummm... We used to do that. 🤔

I don't know. I didn't see a Cat on it and my concern would be all that smoke not being green enough.
