So I get the Grand Prix out for the car show today. And I’m like what in the holy hell sh*t **** damn crap is this sh*t. Looks like mold in my interior. I was able to clean it up with some 303 but I’ll have to scrub the sh*t out of everything w some simple green or something. I guess it’s been hot and humid enough instead of the usual hot and dry....

And then I see this under the hood. Wtf. It had to be coolant but I dont remember it being there last show. And there’s no way it leaked anywhere. Must have slobbed it there at some point but just weird. Battery acid isn’t bright green to my knowledge either.

Guess it’s time to invest in a dehumidifier for the shop.

Carpet must have gotten wet. With windows up it’s a mold haven.

nah it always sits with the windows open. we've had a ton more rain this year than usual and a couple of times its come in on the floor of the shop.. I left the tops off this time and hopefully it airs out. We'll see what happens. I really need to drive it more, but I've been more away from the house than here so ...

An ozone generator is also good to kill stubborn mold, but it doesn't look bad enough to resort to that.

install a ceiling fan, can be found at a garage sale or cl for free. it will keep the moisture from settling.

I have one of these below in the shop. Been 2 years and keeps things nice and dry. Set it on auto controls for 40% humidity and it controls it to around 37% or so based on the gage I have on the other side of the shop. I have a drain hose connected to it for continuous drain to outside. It's going to get me by until I can get a proper HVAC setup in there. I live in the south where humidity is a staple. It's about 40 bucks per month to run it. Just clean the reusable air filter every now and again and it's set it and forget it.
