I plan on buying some of that duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint, I was wondering which blue would be better the blue, or medium blue.

my interior is a medium bluish, im not sure on the exact name its a 84 SS blue on blue.

I had bad luck with duplicolor. I recommend plastikote if you are doing it on a tight budget or SEM if money is not an issue. I swear by the plastikote wax and grease remover on all plastic and vinyl parts before I spray them. Not sure how close monte ss is to cutlass but I used plastikote slate blue p/n 427
and it matched near perfect. here is a pretty close color card http://www.plastikote.com/plastikot...s=true&ExtraHtml=<br>&ProductName=Vinyl Color

I know that http://www.mikesmontes.com sells interior paint that is supposed to be very close to the original. I have seen a few for sale on Ebay. You could check it out, and if anything, see if you can compare the color so you can match the duplicolor better

I usually use SEM products that I have mixed according to the trim data plate located on the firewall. I have never had a problem with color matching so long as I gave them the right code. I spray it with a gun and a compressor.
